About Me
- Name: Anna Louise Lucia
- Location: English Lake District, United Kingdom
Welcome to my blog! There’s no such thing as an ordinary person. I passionately believe in that. I’m pretty ordinary myself. Thirties, married, average height, average weight. I get up, I get online, I go to work, I come home, cook, eat, write and sleep. But I’ve also proposed marriage over a prawn curry cooked on the shores of Ennerdale Water, climbed mountains in an icelandic wool poncho and played extreme tag in the African bush. Many of my stories play with this theme, that an ordinary person might be going about the business of their life until something happens, something changes… and changes their whole world. They become heroes.

The rose is beautiful. The kitchen . . . um . . . I'm sure it WILL be beautiful. :) How's hubby and the hammer?
wow and I thought re-decorating had made my house a mess! Wish I'd taken a photo of my bathroom in progress now... we could have compared mess ;)
I keep breathing in when I see that rose, convinced I'll be able to catch its perfume over the internet!
So happy for your kitchen-to-be!
Ooh, Anna, that's BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing.
Re kitchen - take a deep breath. You're at the worst point right now. (I still quiver when I remember last October, here!) Give it a few more weeks and it will be wonderful.
Inquiring minds would like a tortoise update, please. Just because you have a disaster instead of a kitchen, that is no reason to deprive us of medical details.
The flower was lovely. Thank you for sharing it.
