Craving?

Sorry, didn't find time to wrestle 'Hello' for my photos - they'll come later.

In the meantime, I wanted to ask your help. I know my current heroine (snowed in with the Hero in the Pyrenees, lucky girl) is craving some sort of food or drink. It's something she usually has regularly but that the Hero would never think to provide.

Chocolate's too obvious, of course. I've wavered around some sort of tea or cake?

So what drives you crazy with wanting if you can't get it? And what do you think my rich, sheltered, American heroine is desperate for (apart from the Hero).

I go nuts for Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Brownie Fudge Lowfat Yogurt. But the Ben and Jerry's same flavor in ice cream is equally as good, but has a lot more calories.

When I was pregnant I had a craving for Eccles cakes. That's not much use to you though ggg. How about fruit? Like mangos or papaya? or fresh made fruit smoothies. That might work.

Some people are very addicted to their brand of diet soda. (not me.) Or maybe gum or tic-tacs (breath mint/candy). Can't think of anything else, I don't normally get cravings/addictions to foods (unless it's that time of the month.)

I don't have much of a sweet tooth. But every once in a while (okay, once a month), nothing will satisfy me but vanilla ice cream drizzled with some sort of decadence. Chocolate sauce, raspberry... something. (preferrably heated.)

Also, late at night watching telly, I always seem to want chips and dip. And on those occassions, you guessed it, I never have any in the house... Honey (best cajoling voice) would you run to the store? (batting eyelashes, promising all manner of heavenly rewards if he'll just do this small thing for me.)

X

B&J's Full Vermonty ice cream.

Coffee ice cream (Hill's do a fabulous one and it's really, really hard to find - Waitrose own brand will do)

Twiglets. (Marmite on toast will do at a pinch. But marmite and peanut butter on granary bread is even better.)

I think I have to go to my kitchen. There are things calling my name. (And it's your fault, Anna :) )
